We Are KW Breakers

Bboy NLiteN is a breaker from KW. He has been breaking for several years. He is the co-founder of the crew “KW Breakers”, “KWB” for short, alongside Bboy GD. Together with his crew, he travels all over Ontario competing in breaking jams, performing in shows, engaging in community events, hosting breaking workshops, and much more.

Tommy / Bboy GD is the co-founder of KW Breakers (KWB). He began dancing in 2012, starting with Hip-Hop and K-pop before discovering Breaking at the University of Waterloo.

Inspired by crews such as Super Cr3w, Jabbawockeez, Quest Crew, and Kaba Modern, GD quickly became immersed in the Breaking community. Dance helped him come out of his shell, meet new people, and discover new opportunities. He also spent three years as a dance and Hip-Hop instructor.

As a member of KWB and Mighty Muffins Crew, GD has competed in battles and helped organize Breaking events in collaboration with the City of Waterloo, including Open Streets and Freshest On the Block.

Today, he continues to train, compete, and help grow the Dance and Breaking community in Waterloo.

HAUSOFEL (Ivan) is the COO of the crew KWB and the founder of Blockchain Breakers. His focus is on scaling our brand’s global presence while spearheading our decentralized expansion on the Solana blockchain. He brings over 15 years of industry experience as a content specialist to our collective, with a Web3 portfolio that extends to Adidas, Cudis, DRiP Haus, and Superteam Canada. Building on this foundation, He is developing JAMS—a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) DApp on Solana designed to track and verify physical breaking events worldwide, serving as the definitive digital hub for the culture.

Stryder learned a variety of streetdance styles while growing up in central Alberta, traveling in his early teens to attend major workshops in NYC, and Toronto, and he continues to study and teach in a studio setting. Stryder’s passion for music developed his high-energy, musical style. In addition to training with KWB, Stryder acts as treasurer for UW breakers & UW Street dance, teaches a weekly kids breaking class at 3Dz, and is studying Mathematical Physics at UW.

Vernon Chanthalyma is a Lao-Canadian raised in Kitchener-Waterloo, who started his breaking from a chance encounter with other Bboys during his high school years. He values the community and connection that dancing can bring, and is an advocate in sharing this with the world. His alias, “Bboy Ahan,” is derived from the Laotian word for “food.” It reflects his philosophy that music and food share similar qualities: both engage multiple human senses, draw influence from heritage, culture, and personal experiences, and allow people to develop their own unique style or “flavor” based on personal preference.

Active since 2006, Bronson has been a fixture in the Toronto and KW breaking scene for over two decades. Repping Saiko Skematiks, Visual Assault, and the KW Breakers, his style is known for its crisp execution and smooth, wind-like flow – earning him the name Dryleaf. With a background in Kinesiology, Bronson brings a thoughtful, science-informed approach to teaching, helping dancers train safely while expanding their creative range.

Fun fact: In one of his most memorable journeys, Bronson biked from Toronto to Vancouver with his crewmate Adrian to connect with breaking communities across the country.

Bboy Paul is a breaker who grew up in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. He’s had experience dancing throughout his life, and began focusing on breaking the past couple of years. He attempts to cleanly mix all aspects of breaking into his dance in order to showcase a variety of abilities. His inspirations come from performance crews such as Quest Crew, Jabbawockeez and Kinjaz.

Bboy Oasis is a proud member of the Kitchener Waterloo Breakers and Mighty MFNZ. He began breaking in 2010 and has spent over a decade refining and curating his dance style. Drawing inspiration from various street dance styles, as well as movies and television, he has developed a movement vocabulary that is distinctly his own.

Inspired by the essence of water, Bboy Oasis’ style flows between calm, controlled movements and powerful, wave-like dynamics. His dance reflects both fluidity and force, capturing the versatility and energy of the art form.

Beyond performing, Bboy Oasis is passionate about giving back to the community. He strives to inspire others to pursue breaking by fostering a space that is both supportive and competitive while helping dancers build confidence and express themselves authentically.

Along with some friends and classmates, Fabio started breaking when he was in high school. Discipline, consistency, and hard work are the pillars of his foundation. Fabio’s style was mainly inspired by the Korean b-boys of the time, who were very popular for their power moves. (Fast spin moves).

With over 20 years of experience, Rock Lee has shared his knowledge and experience internationally to different generations.

Fun Fact: Fabio’s b-boy name was inspired by an anime character whose main abilities are his determination and hard work.

A veteran of the Canadian breaking scene since 2010, Bboy Fractal (AKA PatRoc) brings over a decade of experience as both a high-level competitor and a dedicated educator. His style is defined by clean powermoves and intricate, creative combinations. Originally from Calgary, he is KWB’s newest member joining in 2025, also representing the Rocky Mountain Rockers and Aidos Crew.

Bboy Fractal is deeply committed to growing the community, focusing his energy on teaching and mentoring youth. By passing down foundation and encouraging individual creativity, he aims to build an inclusive culture for dancers of all backgrounds.

When he’s not breaking, he is pursuing his PhD in Hydrogeology at the University of Guelph. He brings the same analytical thinking and discipline to his scientific research as he does to his dance, balancing his life as an academic with his commitment to breaking.
